Brian Higgins arrived in Chicago during the summer of 2003. After a furtive attempt at studying music he discovered that he could use the computer to blow things up, and his fate was sealed. He graduated with a B.S. in Media Arts & Design from James Madison University and headed to Washington, D.C.'s Interface Media Group, where he spent 4 years doing graphics and effects work for political commercials, documentaries, and broadcast promos.

From a small town in PA to the big city lights of Chicago, an explosion happened; an explosion of awesomeness and creativity. That explosion, ladies and gentlemen, was and is the one and only Adam R. Kohr. He'll sketch a skateboarder and rotoscope a car being crushed and be back in time to create slates for his hero, Steve Wood. Adam Kohr loves the ladies, and Lord knows the ladies love him. Adam Kohr will blow your mind with extreme kickassitude.

Cutters, Inc. President and Founder Tim McGuire graduated from the University of Illinois, Chicago. He began his career in the film business as a runner, worked his way up the ranks, and eventually found his niche as an editor. Tim worked at two film editorial companies, The Film Place and The Reel Thing before opening Cutters in 1980. The fledgling company quickly worked on several high profile campaigns for ad agencies DDB/Chicago and Marsteller, whose client base included Anheuser Busch, McDonald's, Wheaties, Shasta, and Helene Curtis, just to name a few.
Among Tim's most memorable spot projects are the Wheaties "What the Big Boys Eat" campaign, Shasta's "I Want a Pop" campaign and McDonald's "First Light." The Wheaties and Shasta campaigns earned Tim Clio Awards, and he was honored with a Cannes Lion for his work with McDonald's.
By 2001, the Cutters family of companies had grown to include SOL/design and Another Country audio, rounding out the full spectrum of post-production services. Tim left editing in 2001 to assume a full-time role overseeing the growth of all three companies, including expanding Cutters into the Los Angeles marketplace. In the fall of 2009 the company opened Dictionary Films, a production company and in 2010 started Picnic Transmedia to complete their circle of services. As can be seen in all of Tim's endeavors, it's his passion that drives him, and it's passion that fuels every element of the Cutters Inc. brands.

Bruce was born in Seattle 40 something years ago. After moving to New York, then back to Seattle he headed for the Midwest, settling in Chicago. Using an extensive knowledge of office products as his "foot in the door" to the post production world, he procured employment at Cutters in 1996. Pronounced the "Scheduling 'It' Boy of 1999" he quickly moved on to his present position of producer at Sol. Known for his fast wit, cool tongue and "wicked good looks" he has made a name for himself producing quality spots with eye popping effects as well as managing to star in a short film or two ("Super Mandilon", "Soup-A Trilogy" & "Rabies" among them). He lives contentedly with his 2 dogs, 3 kids and 1 wife.
